• Built high-performance serving software for data scientists, delivering sub-150ms latency for large-scale ML inference.
• Architected an end-to-end testing solution for a real-time fleet-monitoring system that integrates 11 systems, significantly cutting debugging time.
• Led development of Python client libraries for gRPC model servers under strict performance constraints.
• Coached teams on agile practices, pair programming and test-driven development.

The City of Calgary Oct 2014 – Aug 2018

Senior Technical Analyst, Cloud Computing & Open Source

• Created the City’s cloud-solution assessment strategy, cutting assessments from months to three weeks. Also drafted the SaaS procurement guidelines and the organization-wide deployment strategy.
• Delivered a learning-management system (Moodle) for 18,000+ employees, saving the City about $2.5M.
• Brought many cross-functional groups together so the City could adopt new technology effectively.

• Led the web team’s move to agile, cutting the release cycle from 3–6 months to 2 weeks.
• Designed a framework for client-specific software packages that helped close deals worth more than $10M.

• Automated code generation and FpML conversion that had been done by hand.
